Youth in grade 8 are invited to learn and explore the teachings of God and what it means to be a Christian. Confirmation class meets each Monday from 4:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m beginning in September and culminates in May during our Confirmation Service, when these youth are received as official members of the church. Youth are invited to explore their questions, doubts, and relationship with God while exploring the Bible, church history, the sacraments, and the mission of the church. Each student is paired with a “mentor” from the congregation. We host four “mentor dinners” for the confirmands and the mentors to get acquainted one another better.
