Membership Classes

For those new to the United Church of Christ, we offer membership classes (a series of two classes at a time) for those interested in joining the church. The classes help you understand the church and your place in it. New members are received on the Sunday following the series of classes. Classes focus on:

• The church’s beliefs, religious practices, and mission and how we use the Bible

• Becoming acquainted with the people who comprise the church community

• The history and structure of the United Church of Christ (CTUCC.org) along with the history and governance of the Church of Christ, Congregational

• Understand how new members may serve and be served by the church
