Following the Sunday service all are welcome to join us for fellowship - a time for welcoming visitors and catching up with friends over some coffee and snacks.

Our Search Is Over—We are pleased to welcome The Rev. Dr. Stephen Austin as our Intentional Interim Senior Pastor.  Steve currently resides in Lakeville, CT, having relocated to the Northeast from San Diego, CA seven years ago, where he lived much of his adult life.  With a Bachelors degree in Music and his Masters degree in Education, Pastor Steve pursued his doctoral studies at San Francisco Theological Seminary in central California, after which he entered Transitional ministry here in New England in 2005.  Steve has served four churches as an Intentional Interim Minister prior to coming to Newington, and can be found during his free time on a mountain hike, on a river kayaking, reading, at a play, or watching old episodes of the West Wing.  Pastor Steve delivered his first sermon on Sunday, February 12th.
