Following the Sunday service all are welcome to join us for fellowship - a time for welcoming visitors and catching up with friends over some coffee and snacks.

Congratulations Melanie!

On Sunday, March 17, 2013, at a special Congregational meeting, the Church of Christ Congregational, Newington voted to extend the Call as Senior Pastor to The Reverend Melanie Enfield. After a brief report from the Search Committee and a Q and A session, the vote was taken. The result was unanimous and was followed by a thunderous round of applause.

Melanie's first Sunday will be May 19th. An official Installation Service is being planned during morning worship on Sunday, June 2nd. Stay tuned for more information.

Mission 4/1 Earth: 50 Great Days: On Sunday 4/21/2013, our congregation kicked off this National UCC initiative. ONE UNITED CHURCH on a shared resurrection witness for Planet Earth during 50 great days of greening up, powering down, and shouting out. The National UCC program goals are 1,000,000 engaged Earth Care hours, 100,000 trees planted, and 100,000 Advocacy Letters.  Our congregations' goals will be much more modest but will contribute to the National goals in imaginative and creative ways.
